The forum is currently running a contest for the best trap to catch herobrine and save the world! The mod developer claims that he got the idea for this mod in his dreams from notch himself! In my opinion it’s a nice simple mod which fits in with the game, you now have a hostile mob that attacks you during the day, I say why not make Minecraft that little bit more challenging. But watch your back; herobrine can kill you with two hits (without armour)

How to Install With EasyModInstaller for Minecraft 1.3.2

1. With the installer, extract the archive to a folder
2. Run EasyModInstaller.jar
3. Click install
4. Done

Without EasyModInstaller

1. Download and Install ModLoader
2. Move the files from the intominecraft.jar folder into minecraft.jar (obviously)
3. Copy the Herobrine folder into the .minecraft folder
4. Open Minecraft, load a world, build a totem, light it, and get ready to shit your pants!

Personally I love it and I will be adding it to my game!
